The Curry 2 “Super Splash” represents one of the most iconic seasons of Stephen Curry’s career. Worn during the 2015-16 NBA season, the Curry 2 continued the momentum of Stephen Curry’s signature line with Under Armour following the success of the Curry 1.

The “Super Splash” colorway features a striking blue-to-white gradient across the upper, creating a visual connection to Curry’s ability to take over games from beyond the arc. The design incorporates a water droplet pattern throughout the midsole and heel, representing the “splash” that became synonymous with Curry’s three-point shooting and the Warriors’ offensive identity.

This pair is especially unique because it is Stephen Curry’s personal size 12.5, making it a true representation of the shoes worn by one of the greatest shooters in NBA history.

During the 2016 Western Conference Finals, the Golden State Warriors found themselves down 3-1 to the Oklahoma City Thunder. With their season on the line, Curry and the Warriors battled back to win three straight games and advance to the NBA Finals.

The Curry 2 became the shoe Curry wore during this historic comeback, including the legendary Game 6 performance in Oklahoma City where he scored 31 points and hit the dagger three-pointer that helped force a Game 7.

The “Super Splash” represents the resilience, confidence, and shooting ability that defined the Warriors’ 73-win season.

These autographed Curry 2 “Super Splash” pairs came directly from Stephen Curry’s personal collection and were auctioned off to benefit his Eat. Learn. Play. Foundation. During NBA All-Star Weekend in San Francisco, Shoe Palace partnered with eBay to host the auction, where I was fortunate enough to win this pair and add an incredible piece of Warriors history to my collection.

Beyond the story behind how I acquired them, this colorway has always been one of my favorites from the Curry 2 line and remains one of my favorite Curry sneakers of all time. The combination of the blue-to-white gradient, the “splash” inspired details, and the connection to one of the most memorable seasons in Warriors history makes this an unforgettable pair.
